Presentation Industry News:

Sharp Announces HD-1 DMD Home Entertainment Projector; TI Announces New Version of DMD
"This is the first home cinema-based projector using DLP technology. It uses the new 16:9 (1280 x 720) DMD chip and allows for 720p native HDTV resolutions as well as scaling NTSC and all other analog and digital signal formats. The price point, however, will be the thing that surprises everyone. It will be fun to see the reaction to this at CEDIA next month." -- Gary Kayye, CTS
