Extron Announces New Additions to Its Electronic Family
By Sherrie Morreall
Extron is back at NAB this year with introducing some new additions to
the Extron product line. Among the additions is the SW2 VGA DA2 AF R.
This is a two-input, two-output VGA and Audio Switcher/Distribution Amplifier.
It is handy-dandy in that it is rack- mountable, may be mounted on a podium
or even under a desk, provides additional AV connection access ports and
an un-switched front panel AC outlet. Ready to ship mid-June, it contains
two places for Architectural Adaptor Plates that offer optional connection
access for the majority of peripheral equipment, as well as RJ-45 data
connections and RJ-11 phone jacks. Similar to other switchers in this
product category, it has physical switch buttons with LEDs and contact
closure control, and offers both manual and automated switching modes.
