Bright Ideas
Canon LV-7345 LCD Projector

At nine pounds and 1,800 ANSI lumens, the $4,700 Canon LV-7345 XGA-resolution projector is part of a new breed of portable high-brightness display systems that replay entire presentations directly from CompactFlash memory cards. In this instance, a small optional adapter—the size of a deck of playing cards—attaches securely to the DVI video port on the back of the projector. The projector’s remote control can be used to navigate through digitized slides, or the unit can be set up to cycle through available slides indefinitely.
