The Price of Beauty
Plasma still dazzles, but price is a sticking point

They’re sleek and sexy in design. They display a large, eye-catching picture with high contrast and rich colors. And they cost a whole lot of money. Two out of three ain’t bad.Observers of the plasma-screen industry generally agree that the flat-panel displays, which present a stunning picture using a bare minimum of real estate, are finally making significant advances in both the digital signage and multimedia presentation markets. While the screens are arguably the most stylish way to make a point using digital video, they’re also one of the most expensive—and that remains a problem for plasma-screen manufacturers, who generally want to see prices drop just as badly as end users, since the attendant increase in manufacturing volume would make the whole segment more profitable.

Linking Powerpoint Presentations

I I am trying to avoid going through every slide changing font sytles and layouts because they were all messed up during the combining. A reader named Winston had a solution.
