Two out of three ain’t bad.Observers of the plasma-screen industry generally agree that the flat-panel displays, which present a stunning picture using a bare minimum of real estate, are finally making significant advances in both the digital signage and multimedia presentation markets. While the screens are arguably the most stylish way to make a point using digital video, they’re also one of the most expensive—and that remains a problem for plasma-screen manufacturers, who generally want to see prices drop just as badly as end users, since the attendant increase in manufacturing volume would make the whole segment more profitable. ![]() Schools need highly affordable and perfectly practical Pro AV solutions.
